What you get

Two full-size jars of NECTICO honey - N°001 Raw Forest Honey and N°002 Raw Blossom Honey. Each jar is 290g (210ml), sourced from independent Slovenian beekeepers, laboratory tested and bottled raw. No blending, no shortcuts, no imported honey.

Why a duo

Forest and blossom honey are fundamentally different experiences. Forest honey is dark, complex and mineral - produced from honeydew collected on spruce and fir needles. Blossom honey is pale, delicate and floral - produced from acacia and wildflower nectar. Tasting them side by side is the fastest way to understand what single-origin honey means in practice. Most people discover they prefer one over the other - and many are surprised by which one it is.

N°001 - Forest

Dark amber in colour. Complex, layered taste with notes of warm caramel, dried fruit and a subtle woody finish. Less sweet than lighter honeys - rich, almost malty. Best with aged cheese, dark bread, roasted nuts and strong coffee.

N°002 - Blossom

Pale gold to almost transparent. Clean, mildly sweet with subtle notes of vanilla, white flowers and fresh fruit. The finish is soft and disappears cleanly. Best drizzled over yoghurt, stirred into tea, spread on warm toast or enjoyed straight from the spoon.

Why Slovenian honey

Slovenia has one of the oldest and most respected beekeeping traditions in Europe. The country is home to the native Carniolan bee - one of the most gentle and productive subspecies in the world. Slovenia initiated World Bee Day at the United Nations, and the practice of beekeeping is protected by law. The forests and meadows remain largely free from industrial agriculture, producing honey with a purity that is increasingly difficult to find elsewhere in Europe.

Every jar is directly sourced from independent Slovenian beekeepers who manage their hives traditionally. There is no blending with imported honey, no mixing of origins, no compromise. Each batch is independently laboratory tested for purity, authenticity and the absence of residues before bottling.
